French Post-Impressionist Henri Rousseau (1844 - 1910 ) painted this charming naif scene ca. 1896. A self-taught artist, Rousseau's unique style inspired many future artists who ventured into surrealist style such as Picasso and Salvador Dali. Reverse is black.

Our pillows are 18” x 18”, made of spun polyester which has the look and feel of a soft cotton canvas. Pillow insert is medium-firm.
