This beautiful print is from an original engraving from the Encyclopédie Méthodique, by Charles Joseph Panckoucke, the successor to the famous and groundbreaking Diderot Encyclopédie.

After a painstaking process to capture of every nuance of the antique original, we print on only the finest hot press art paper. We present this smashing print double matted in your choice of two distinctive wood frames: charcoal/black with unique silvered border, or a two-tone weathered gray. Both are great contemporary complements to this centuries-old art form.

This print is part is inspired by artwork from our family collections. My mother especially had a love for engravings, and we are pleased to share the incredible craftsmanship of centuries past with all of you.

This piece weighs approx. 4 lbs., and measures:

Charcoal Black w/ Silver :   24" H x 20" W

Two Tone Weathered Gray: 22.5" H x 18.5" W
